The MBRA- Our History
The Mallory Beach Residents Association (MBRA) was founded in 1995 by a group of residents who recognized the need for a collective voice to address local issues, particularly the condition of Mallory Beach Road. The community's strong support led to the formal establishment of the association, which quickly grew in membership. By 1996, the MBRA had held its first Annual General Meeting, gaining 81 paid members and setting a clear agenda to improve the area’s infrastructure and overall quality of life.

Incorporated in September 1996, the MBRA became a legal entity, enhancing its ability to advocate for the community. This move not only protected the Board directors but also gave the association the credibility and influence needed to address concerns at municipal, provincial, and federal levels.
Throughout the years, the MBRA has achieved notable successes, such as the complete paving of Mallory Beach Road, reducing speed limits to improve safety, and organizing annual social events that bring the community together. The association has also played a crucial role in addressing issues like water quality, tax assessments, and land use.

Today, the MBRA continues to represent the interests of property owners, advocating for safe developments, providing valuable information to residents, and fostering a connected and vibrant community in Mallory Beach.
MBRA Board of Directors
The Mallory Beach Residents Association (MBRA) Board of Directors is a dedicated team working to preserve and enhance the charm and natural beauty of our beloved community. With a commitment to representing the interests of all residents, the Board advocates on local issues with the Town of South Bruce Peninsula and ensures Mallory Beach remains a safe and vibrant place to live. The Board meets monthly, except in winter, and holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM) in August, where members are elected for two-year terms. The MBRA also supports the development of a website and Facebook page to keep residents informed and engaged.
Community involvement is key, and the Board is always looking for volunteers to help make a positive impact.
